BC-490 Plastic Scintillator Casting Resin*

BC-490 is a plastic scintillator that you mix and cast yourself. It has scintillation and physical properties similar to BC-408 when fully cured. Use it when you need a plastic scintillator with a unique shape or when you need to imbed something in a plastic scintillator.

We supply BC-490 as a 3-part kit consisting of a partially polymerized scintillator resin, catalyst and catalyst solvent. Complete instructions are included. Because we prepare each order fresh for you (the materials have a limited shelf life), please allow us a few days to get your BC-490 out to you.
