Bicron extends our scintillating fiber technology to offer you fluorescent fibers) plastic fibers that glow in their different colors when struck by any light containing a UV component. This property makes these fibers attractive for many practical as well as decorative applications.
We currently offer three colors:
BCF-Green Green fluorescent fiber
BCF-Orange Orange fluorescent fiber
BCF-Red Red fluorescent fiber
As with our fibers for detector applications, this catalog lets you purchase small quantities of
fluorescent fibers without having to deal with our normal minimum order requirements. They come in packages of 10 fibers, each 1.5m long, in either 1 mm or 1/2 mm diameters. If you need larger quantities, square cross-sections, or different sizes, call Bicron Customer Service for details.
