BC-408 Premium Plastic Scintillator Sheets

BC-408 is a blue-emitting plastic scintillator that is sensitive to protons and electrons as well as alphas, betas, gammas and neutrons. The bare scintillator glows blue when exposed to UV light from any source. This property also makes it an interesting material for applications other than radiation detection.

The sheets available through Bicron Direct are 305 mm squares in 5 or 10 mm thicknesses. They come with diamond milled edges.
